Cody is a filmmaker and photographer based in Idaho, primarily working as a freelance cinematographer both locally and abroad. His work has screened at the Museum of Modern Art and the Stedelijk Museum, among many other leading institutions, and was most recently on display at Towner Eastbourne in East Sussex, England as part of the 2023 Turner Prize exhibition.

For the past decade Cody has worked with Filmfort—part of Treefort Music Fest—a fiercely curated regional powerhouse named one of the “25 Coolest Film Festivals in the World” by MovieMaker Magazine, and has contributed vibrant cinematic work to numerous other arts organizations and artists in Idaho and beyond. He has received grants from the Boise Department of Arts & History, Idaho Commission on the Arts, Alexa Rose Foundation, Idaho Film Office, and the Sun Valley Film Festival.
